The Turtle Reserve is located in the Ras Al Jinz area, and it is one of the world's most famous turtle nesting sites. Ras Al Jinz is a fishing village, located in the turtle reserve area in Ras Al Hadd on the eastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. Ras Al Jinz Beach is world famous for the nesting process of endangered green turtles (Chelonia mydas), and perhaps one of the most important areas in which the nesting process is concentrated on... Along the coast of the Indian Ocean. It is the only place where the public comes together to watch and observe the nesting process of these giant and amazing sea turtles.

Ras Al Jinz Reserve was established in accordance with the Royal Decree issued in 1996, and it is the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Center. It was established in 2008 AD with the aim of preserving one of the most important rare natural phenomena, which is the amazing nesting operations carried out by giant turtles within the world of sea turtles, and it is indeed a first-class environmental tourism project.

The center organizes guided tourist trips every night to see the turtles so that the visitor there can witness the turtle nesting process. All of the Centre's guidelines stipulate a commitment to preserving turtles.
